Tanggung Jawab
- Mass-rearing of parasitoid/predator insects (e.g., Trichogramma, ladybugs, lacewings) following strict SOPs
- Monitor insect health, reproduction cycles, and population dynamics in controlled environments
- Optimize rearing conditions (temperature, humidity, diet) for maximum production efficiency
- Conduct quality control testing on insect batches to ensure viability and efficacy
- Collaborate with R&D team to develop new rearing protocols for target pests
- Document production data and maintain detailed batch records for traceability
- Train junior staff on proper handling and monitoring techniques
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Entomology, Biology, Agriculture, or related field
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in insect rearing or biological control
- Deep understanding of parasitoid/predator biology and host-parasite relationships
- Proficiency in maintaining sterile laboratory conditions and aseptic techniques
- Experience with mass-rearing equipment (incubators, climate chambers, artificial diets)
- Strong analytical skills for population monitoring and data interpretation
- Certification in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is highly desirable
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments with strict hygiene protocols
